1. Who provides LocalPing

LocalPing is a service of Magenta Labs, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. Our operating address is Am Südufer 6, 41065 Mönchengladbach, Germany.

2. What the service does

LocalPing provides human-assisted communication, booking and follow-up support for local businesses and services, currently focused on Germany and Mainland China. We may contact a third party, relay information, request availability, follow up about lost property or try to arrange a booking on your behalf.

We are not the restaurant, clinic, venue, tradesperson or other provider. We do not control availability, price changes, acceptance, service quality or the third party's performance, and we do not guarantee that a request can be completed.

3. Requests and your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must provide accurate, complete and current information, review the booking details we send, and promptly tell us about corrections.

You authorize us to communicate the information reasonably necessary to handle your request to the relevant third party. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, medical records or information that is not needed for the booking.

4. Price and payment

LocalPing service fees start at USD 2.99. The total depends on the scope and complexity of the request and is confirmed before payment. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.

The service fee does not include tickets, deposits, food, treatment, merchant charges, cancellation fees or any other amount charged by a third party. We will tell you about known third-party charges before asking you to approve them where reasonably possible.

5. Refunds, changes and cancellations

If LocalPing cannot complete the requested booking, we refund the LocalPing service fee. A request is not unsuccessful merely because your preferred time is unavailable if you accept an alternative that we arrange.

Third-party charges are governed by the third party's own terms and cancellation policy. We cannot promise a refund of those amounts. If you change or cancel a request after we have begun work, the service fee may be non-refundable except where mandatory law or the withdrawal rights below require otherwise.

6. Withdrawal rights for EEA consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area and enter into the contract at a distance, you generally have 14 days from the contract date to withdraw without giving a reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement through the WhatsApp contact shown on this website and include your name, payment or request details and your decision to withdraw.

If you ask us to begin during the withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for work performed before withdrawal where applicable law permits. Your withdrawal right may expire once the service has been fully performed if you expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged that consequence. These Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer right.

7. Health, emergencies and regulated advice

LocalPing does not provide medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice and is not an emergency service. We may help ask about routine appointment availability, but you remain responsible for choosing a provider and for all decisions concerning care. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service directly.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use LocalPing for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive or harmful activity; to impersonate another person; to make unauthorized bookings; or to interfere with our service or a third party. We may refuse or stop a request where it is unsafe, unlawful, outside our scope or inconsistent with these Terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer protections. For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual duty, and then only for reasonably foreseeable loss typical of this contract.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss or for acts, omissions, outages or decisions of third parties, including WhatsApp, Stripe and the business you ask us to contact.

10. Privacy and intellectual property

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. LocalPing's name, branding, website content and mascot are owned by or licensed to Magenta Labs, LLC and may not be copied or used without permission except as allowed by law.

11. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these Terms for future requests. The version presented when you purchase a request applies to that request. Delaware law governs to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. If you are a consumer, you may also use any court or dispute process available under mandatory local law.
